Piano Solo

Idea 1

after Gibran Alcocer

Piano sheet music for Idea 1 by Gibran Alcocer, arranged for solo piano and kept in his original G♯ minor, not moved down to another key like most free versions.

Keeping Alcocer's five sharps means the left hand plays exactly where he wrote it. It looks harder on the page than a simplified version, but it plays easier. Four pages, seventy bars of rocking 6/8, from G♯1 to E6, and I wrote out every note myself. Watch me play it in full above, then get the PDF on mymusic5.
