Piano Solo

Idea 25

after Gibran Alcocer & Andrea Vanzo

Idea 25, Gibran Alcocer's duo with Andrea Vanzo, arranged so one pianist can play both parts — intermediate piano sheet music across four pages.

Alcocer and Vanzo wrote it in France; Vanzo calls it a conversation between two personalities that ends with the music growing big. The whole job was getting both parts under one player's hands: eighty-nine bars in 6/8, from C1 up to D7, wider than any of my other Alcocer arrangements.
